    WLM replacement that works ?

From what I've read and got a message about is that my WLM will be shut down this coming July? or June?..
Is there a replacement that would work without issues? With my Win7 Pro 64bit?
I tried Em client and I got so many error notices and won't send sometimes etc. I took it out. WLM works fine for me as it is.
I have 2 accounts I need to keep going and access fast. My accounts are cc*****@msn.com for both. I have outlook to use but they took away the ability to have both at once so logging out and signing in again is a PIA. As often as I have too..for both.

Can you provide any more info on eM Client error messages? Look here:

    https://forum.emclient.com/emclient/...th-outlook-com

Basically you have to check settings and also enable IMAP in outlook dot com and configure eM Client to use IMAP.

AirSync will not work, because Microsoft no longer supports it. You need to set up your account again as IMAP
Alternatives? Well most users suggest Thunderbird but yo could also take a look at FossaMail.

    https://www.fossamail.org/ - 64bit version available.

You can continue to use WLM 2012 after June with IMAP or POP settings. No need to switch, regardless of what MS tells you. Just remove the accounts and re-add them with IMAP or POP settings.

You need to choose to manually configure server settings. I have posted the settings on this thread:

Windows Live Mail 2012 will not connect to Outlook.com

Well my two cent worth this works real good is free and "cohabits/interfaces" with Windows office Ihave it on most of my machines now as my use of 2010 an 2007 installshave run out https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ there is also Kingsoft WPS Office Suite: WPS Office 10 Free and WPS Office 10 Business

but I slightly prefer the Libre.

I have set my WLM to what this article advised. But it states with IMAP contacts won't be syncronized. What does that mean?
Outlook Mail, Outlook.com, Hotmail in Windows Live Mail

Also that article was written by a MS employee named "Itconcerned" that posted in below link .He has 1 post...

Windows Live Mail 2012 will not connect to Outlook.com

I am unfamiliar with settings and understanding email setups.. like IMAP ..don't know what that is. I would of hoped some simple program that would do it all smoothly could be found.
I uninstalled emclient for now so I don't have the error messages but there were a few..now and then and not always with a pattern for my eyes to see.
I thank you for all replies and will have to try some of the suggestions above if the resetting of WLM doesn't work.

Well basically WLM will be taken over by Outlook and it is run from a browser as I understand it and after using it at work I don't like it one bit and why I am using Thunderbird it an be set as WLM so run from an icon on my taskbar. Plus if you install Outlook form what I can gather it is a free subscription for ayear so prpbably paid for after that time.

You may be interested in these tow articles https://www.hostaway.net.au/news/imap-vs-pop/ and https://www.telstra.com.au/support/c...l-email-set-up

Now with the Thunderbird although it isn't so pretty as WLM it does carry over your WLM settings and again I think is faster. You just need to tell it to use your existing email server ie **********@hotmail.com or whatever you are using.

To be rank it is worth a try you can always uninstall it if you do not like it

I installed Thunderbird...it's not bad but I have some issues with it. Part of which stem's from having two email accounts and address books.
One thing I don't like is the large window/pane between the header and the message (in the picture. The middle with the lines of blue) I can't seem to shrink. It is loaded with stuff I don't understand and don't need WLM or Outlook never had this..

In the TB Menu Bar select View / Headers and then select Normal, see if that helps.
