    Internet Explorer Stops Working

I regularly get a box appearing on my screen telling me that Internet Explorer has stopped working and the screen is frozen. After a short time, IE refreshes itself and starts working again. This can happen several times in a one our two hour period.

Bearing in mind my limited pc skills, is this something I can fix myself? It's an Acer desktop pc and IE11.

Are you sure it is Internet Explorer (I.E.) and not Windows 7 Explorer giving you that notice?

Thanks for your reply, LB. You may be right. Below is the box that appeared on my screen within approx. 30 seconds of opening IE.

Thanks also to ThrashZ. I will have a look at your link.
