I understand, but I have taken this as far as I can. I will ask in one of our help threads to see if anyone else can figure this out, my apologies that I couldn't be of more help.

Hi Anak, your valiant attempt is greatly appreciated. I am at present experimenting with Thunderbird Portable on both of my computers, it's going well so far. I exported my contacts from my Gmail, it does not have echo123. Next on it's agenda is the calendar feature. WML Can't delete echo123-bravo.gif

    Hi,
I have no idea what echo123 is but if it shows as a https... website possibly add it to your ie11 restricted sites list ?

Thank you for your kind words, and I'm glad to see that you are trying new avenues.

    TZ has a unique idea; That of placing echo on a restricted list. If you can;
    • First, place it on a restricted addy [address] list.
    • Close and then restart WLM
    • Then see if WLM will allow you to delete it.
    • Let us know if you see any windows dialog explaining a delay to opening WLM; Such as it trying to sync with Skype or anything else.

That is what I did, the interesting thing is that while in the chat with the support guy, he informed me there were like 8 Skype accounts connected to my email address that were basically the same account just numbers added at the end, I'm pretty sure they were created every time I tried to manually close my account, clicking the go to Skype profile link.

Anyway, that did get rid of the echo123 contact though.

    Hi,
    Yea I added
    Code:
    http://skype.com
and to my restricted site list long ago.
If people want me they can call me like a normal person
Beside I do not have a webcam and I'm not getting one skype slows loading of hotmail/ outlook.com a lot
That and getting rid of the adds on the right really help load time and functionality for me anyway for what little I do use hotmail for.

Neither work in ie11 to block echo123 contact :/

Just my two cents worth Rodey mate have you ever thought of trying Thunderbird - if only to see if the problem persists.

I have Thunderbird set up on my machines with my hotmail and local provider account now as a back up email service and even for when WLM dies in the backside.

I have taken to using either for the default email and that way I keep up the download messages in both. Oh and it is easy to configure Thunderbird to look like the WLM GUI - having said that I do slightly prefer the WLM look but am guessing changing the Thunderbird format is possible.
