Someone please help. My inbox emails have suddenly disappeared from Firefox inbox. I don't know what I may have done, if anything other than to update Firefox to cause it, but would like them back if at all possible. Thanks.
Well you should restore your backed up profile. If you don't have a profile backup but have system restore enabled you can try getting your old profile back by navigating to:
%Userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\
Copy and paste the above into Explorer's address bar or the Start> Run dialog box and press enter.
Make sure that Firefox is not running.
In the window that opens right click on the folder named Firefox and then choose "Properties" > "Previous Versions" then restore any version that was created on a date before you updated Firefox.

Firefox is a web browser, not an email client.
As such, I'm confused when you mention a "Firefox inbox".
Can you please tell us:
Perhaps you are referring to Thunderbird, the free, open-source email client from Mozilla (the same folks who are responsible for Firefox)?
Or perhaps you are referring to ISP or webmail (such as gmail or yahoo mail or similar) messages that you are viewing through Firefox on the web?

MM, Thanks for your response...I hope my answer will not be dumber than you
may think yours was but I'll give it a try...The reason I mention Firefox
inbox is because I also have an IE inbox which does show the emails OK but I
want to change to Firefox instead...I'm sorry to say I just thought Firefox
was the problem because the emails were shown in the inbox before but
disappeared for some reason.... Gmail works on another site though with no
problem... Hope I gave the explanations you asked about. I use Hotmail in IE
and I think it is Gmail in Firefox. Thanks again MM.

I clicked into it and then got an "Inbox Gmail" notice but here was nowhere shown to sign in, and then a blue site came up with the following:
"Oops, your browser is not yet supported. Inbox works best on Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. More browsers coming soon." I'm already on firefox with my inbox empty each time it comes up. Thanks.
