Error message when attempting to migrate messages from WLM Desktop App
Hi Everyone,
I have been using the Windows Live Mail (WLM) Desktop email app for several years. Due to a recent change with my ISP I am now required to change the Server settings for my email account from POP to IMAP. I have installed Outlook 2013, and am now making an effort to migrate my emails.
Whilst many of my email folders in WLM are migrating fine some are producing the error message below -
I have tried many things in an effort to overcome this error.
1). Scanning my hard drive for viruses (using a Trinity Rescue disk, and the Clam Anti-Virus program). Some viruses were found and successfully removed.
2). Scanning the hard drive for hardware issues
3). Cloning my old (mechanical) hard drive to an SSD
4). Scanning with MalwareBytes
5). Scanning with Adw Cleaner
6). Scanning with Junk Removal Tool
I am now almost certain that there are no hardware issues, or viruses. However the error message above is persisting. I have even checked the length of the email folder, and email file name to ensure that there is no exceeding the 255 character limit (which there isn't).
I have all but run out of ideas here. Any suggestions, or shared wisdom will be greatly appreciated.
