    FF Not Loading Tabs

I'm having to use my Visa machine to post this as after a recent update from FF I now can't get previous or new tabs to open. The little wheel keeps gong round and around and never loads. I'm assuming it was due to that update from FF as some days ago prior to this there was no problem.

Suggestions on what I could do would be appreciated.

Well, that didn't work and I've lost the way FF use to look, my tabs and history. I tried a new tab for Facebook and it never did connect.

Have you got a restore point prior to the update then.

I can try a restore point from several days ago to see if that helps but FF will come back for the auto update probably.

I had to go back to 9/27/16 as the first system restore failed to get me where I wanted. It's in the process of initializing right now. I think I know what could have caused this. I thought maybe it was FF but in retrospect, today I did some Microsoft Updates and that's when the trouble started. I don't know which did it so, I guess next time I'll do one at a time to see if it causes the same problem rather than doing 4-5 that I did earlier.

Not sure what's happening now. After the restore now I can't access FF. When I tried clicking on the short cut on the task bar just got the little wheel turning...no arrow. I then went to the desktop to get an arrow and clicked on the FF shortcut and got a pop up that read "COULDN'T LOAD XPCOM". The wheel is still spinning ten minutes later if you move it down to the task bar area.

I ended up uninstalling FF and downloading the recent version...it's slow loading tabs however and looks nothing like what I had. Running a Malewarebytes check it never got past 'checking for updates". It gets to the count of 4:00 minutes and starts all over again at zero and then starts counting again. That went on 30 minutes till I abandoned trying to update or scan as trying to just scan it starts again with the checking for updates...back to square one.

    Hi,
I've been using firefox seems fine
Steaming amazon prime movie as we speak html steaming is pretty good :)

    You might use this
TFC - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer Download - Geeks to Go Forum
Just be sure to save it to your desktop
After right click it and select run as administrator

Be sure to save all work and close all programs before using it.

    After just restart the machine.

FF was working great till I uploaded those Microsoft Updates. That's what caused all the problems. I'll be leery uploading anymore. Once thing's for sure, I won't upload multiple updates as I did again.
