I followed a tutorial, and I get so far but it fails on the last step and I know I'm using the right password. It took a while to find the correct server settings. I set gmail to IMAP, should I change it back to POP?
I use Outlook 2013 with Gmail and use POP. I have never tried IMAP.

When I'm finished it keeps asking for my password which I enter. It then says I need an "app password" which I generate from google and it won't work. I'll mess with it more after work.
Is there a reason you want to use IMAP instead of POP?
