Many websites not working for ME only

I'm finding a lot o sites are timing out all day today, yet they;re all site that rarely if ever go down. So i checked one of those sites that allows you to check any given website and it tells me it's on my end and that those sites are up. I scanned with malwarebytes and a few others, tried 3 different browsers, check my task manager for things normally not running and checked my startup items. Nothing has changed. restart the PC and those sites are still down. Any ideas?

Some anti virus blocks access to some sites, or only loads using their search bar.

Since all browsers are affected suggest:

Reset router (button on back of router) and reboot.

Change DNS as per this post:

Pages take a long time and unresponsive-all browsers

If you have Firefox or a Firefox variant try the addon mentioned in Posts #5 & #9 in this thread:

1 website (only) seems to have gone rogue and won't load properly

If the sites load using the addon then it is a DNS issue.

I don't understand how to do whats in that post. I'm pre noob when it comes to internet connections and IP and DNS and all that....it's greek to me. I did try a laptop and same issue, so itls not the computer. I also did unplug the router for a minute and plugged it back in to no avail. I;d call my ISP but by the time i actually talk to someone i'll have dies of old age.
