I'm no expert but I no longer trust Tor Browser.

In 2013, the U.S. Government hacked into Tor Browser users' browsing sessions by injecting javascript into the browsing sessions, revealing the original users' IP addresses, and recording them for busts on Silk Road and government-seized and hosted child porn sites.

Because of this bust, others revealed that at least 1/3 of all Tor exit nodes were operated by 3-letter government agencies. Supposedly there was an update that fixed this flaw, but who knows how true this is?

I personally consider Tor to be compromised.
