Transfering my favorites properly to new computer

How is the correct way to transfer all your favorites from old computer to new on and keeping them in the same order and displaying them the same? I got another computer and when I try to transfer my favorites to the new one the are all jumbled up. No way to id what they are. Should I make a folder "favorites" then copy from old computer to new one and paste it? Trying to do it with a flash drive.

I thought problem was solved but spoke too soon. Google is my home page. At the top left hand it has file, edit favorites, tools help. I found the import export command you was talking about. Got them loaded on a usb drive. I am trying to put them on my laptop which has Google home page but it shows none of those items displayed. Just the Google star, wheel and a couple of other items on the right top of page.

Right click anywhere at top of browser then left click on menu bar in the dropdown menu that appears.
