Windows 7: Where does IE8 first temporarily save download in progress file to?

Found what I was looking for!! Win7 goes to extreme length to hide the content.ie5 folder on my computer. Even after already enabling showing hidden files, etc it still won't show it inside the temporary internet files folder. I have to manually append the content.ie5 to the folder address at the end. then it lets me go into the content.ie5 folder showing the subdir containing the temp active downloads. It asks if i really want to access the individual folders here. I guess the contents can sometimes included malware that you might have picked up? either that or MS just being ridiculous trying to keep people out...

Just to make my very weak 3 brain cells happy, could you explain now that you found the file what you intend to do with it?

There are always a use for everything! one obvious use is that if it's a video file you can do a partial watch. There are a lot of other usages, which i won't get into b/c of the legality of it (thanks to those self righteous trollers). But you can imagine it....

My point is that a lot of time it's very useful to be able to have that partially completed file, esp when you get cut off at like 90% completion. Save a lot of time not having to do that 90% over again.
