Unable to uninstall IE11.

    Unable to uninstall IE11.


    My IE11 keeps crashing. Trying to uninstall it; to install it again!

    Turned the feature off, and tried to uninstall it as an update; but always get error message:
    "An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled."

    Also tried option two as in here with no success:

    What's left for me to do? Through the registry? If so have you got instructions on how to do it?

    Hi John,
    from an elevated command mode please run

    sfc /scannow (note the space)

    then KB947821

    REBOOT

    post the logs from
    C >> Windows >> logs >> CBS >>
    top CBS text file and SURT.

    (zip format not Rar)

    Roy, sfc /scannow completed successfully and fixed some errors, but not all!

    What do i do with KB947821?
    Tried:
    sfc /scannow KB947821, sfc /KB947821, sfc KB947821
    Doesn't do anything!

    CBS log attached! There's no SURT log!

    Roy,

    Download System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821) [October 2014] from Official Microsoft Download Center

    tried to install but get message: The update is not applicable to your computer.

    I run sfc /scannow again and the only log updated was CBS. Its attached!

    can you run SURT

    then go to
    C >> Windows >> logs >> CBS> ........

    from there
    copy/paste the top CBS, the text file and SURT at the bottom.

    I downloaded Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64
    Installed, then went to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS.

    There is no SURT log!
