How do I save a Hotmail/Outlook email as a file on my hard drive?

With Thunderbird and Windows 10, there is a menu at the top of the page to save an email as a file with the extension of .eml. On my laptop there is Win 7 Pro 64, using Outlook.com. How do I save an email as a file, please?
