Possible to upgade to IE 9,10,or11 from IE 8 without SP1?

for various reasons I cant upgrade to SP1, so I am on IE8.

I need to upgrade the browser. So the professionals who have helped others... Can you tell me if it is possible to upgrade to any other version of IE on a Windows 7 machine WITHOUT upgrading to SP1?

    thank

According to Microsoft's support articles, it is possible to install IE9 on Windows 7 without SP1. But IE10 and IE11 require SP1.

I'm not a professional of any kind but I highly recommend installing SP-1.
Windows 7 is not complete and much less secure without SP-1.

I would first look why you can't install SP1 at all. That's a good idea to do regardless of the browser. Not of utmost importance actually, but a nice upgrade, and many MS software blindly requires it to even install.

Also consider switching to a better browser altogether. IE8 is totally inadecuate for the current web, and IE9 is not much better. There are far better "non-IE" options out there.
