I am having problems with my Yahoo mail account.

    Hello,

I am having problems with my Yahoo mail account. Is there any way to contact Yahoo mail tech support?

    Thank you.

Here are some suggested ways to get email help. If you have a free email account it's been my experience that the community forums may offer faster help than waiting for a Yahoo representative to respond.

    Hello marsmimar,

thank you for the information. I will post my question in the Yahoo mail community. Let me tell you what the problem is. I have had the same Yahoo mail account for over 10 years and have never had any problems. But recently I sent emails to friends who have various mail accounts such as Yahoo and gmail. When they were ready to reply to my emails they clicked on the reply button and my correct Yahoo email address appeared. They then typed there reply message and clicked Send. But after they clicked Send, the emails were all redirected from my email address to a address that doesn't exist. Then they all received a "failure notice" telling them that the email could not be sent. I have no idea what is causing this or how to fix it, but I will post this in the Yahoo mail community.

    Thank you

I'm not an expert in Yahoo emails. If another Yahoo email user is trying to reply to your Yahoo email account and receives a failure notice, my first thought is perhaps Yahoo is having a problem. But since other email users (gmail, etc) are receiving the same failure notices, I'm wondering if your Yahoo email account hasn't been compromised in the recent Yahoo security breaches. If you haven't already done so I'd suggest changing your password. You can also send an email to yourself to see if it gets redirected or shows up in your Inbox. (You have to use your full email address in the "To:" box -- yourname<at>yahoo<dot>com.)

Thank you for the additional info. I also suspected a security breach. I will definitely change my password.

    Thanks
