    "Internet Explorer has stopped working" error


    I have frequent occurrances of this error message. I have repeatedly followed Microsoft's suggested methods for correcting the problem without success. I'd greatly appreciate any ideas for solving this annoying problem.

    Hello and welcome to Windows Forums!
    Not sure which methods you might have followed for the issue.

    1st Method-
    Press Windows button + R together you will get RUN window.
    type 'inetcpl.cpl' and click OK.
    You will see Internet Properties windows.
    click on 'Advanced' and click on 'Reset'
    Have a check tick in delete personal settings and then Reset.

    2nd Method-
    Check the version on Internet explorer.
    Then GoTo Control Panel- Programs- Programs and Features- Installed Updates
    Uninstall updates related to Internet explorer that will downgrade version of internet explorer.
