    Hi,
Double click is not a website but is your problem so if you don't feel like adding it to your restricted site list than that's all I can suggest good luck :)

Ok, don't mean to be dense, but is it https://adsl.msads.net that is the double click url to put in restricted sites?

Yes, my 'back arrow' issue has been affecting Google only. All other sites work fine.

I agree that it does happen primarily with Google Search, but I have had it do the same thing with other sites.

It only happens in my experience when there is only one different site to go back to. Such as on this site it will backup normally once I have gone to somewhere else within this site.

    Hi,
No that is for something hotmail/ outlook.com related
In Huffman's case this would be the url to add
    Code:
    https://3735144.fls.doubleclick.net/act
One could probably also just add and be done
    Code:
    https://doubleclick.net

Hmmm, before I could add the correct doubleclk url to my restricted sites zone, the issue disappeared as suddenly as it appeared! I can't recreate the problem. And I haven't even performed a restart nor anything to try to correct it.
    Computers...gotta love them!
    Thanks to all!

terri13 my problem I don't think started with updates. It first occurred (that I noticed) after running a full virus scan using MSE.

I am not even sure if I can uninstall any updates in June. It would take space I want to why this is true. My only restore point is on 6/26 so that is no help.
Confirmed true, and I think it is to do with the site history cookies.

When I go Browser Home Page > Site Home Page > Article Page and then press browser Back button, rather than being presented the Site Home Page, I am immediately redirected to the Browser Home Page, again.

Suggests to me that a history cookie was not present for the Site Home Page, while I was looking for it.

[Note: I dont get the google doubleclick show anymore since changing antivirus from MS Essentials, but I have this minor issue now of browser history back button failing to find the previous page visited.]
