Well, no matter, I'm pretty sure I know what you're referring to. If you're logging into your Hotmail via Firefox, I know the checkboxes you're referring to in the web interface.

Okay, I did a dummy run to grab some screenshots, and posted a quick tutorial here.

See if that helps.

This method relies on having IMAP access to both of your Hotmail accounts, but I believe IMAP should be enabled by default. You can check by examining your Hotmail mail settings.

I should mention that "Forwarding" in the mail settings only affects future incoming mail, not mail already in your inbox. And note that if you have two-factor authentication enabled there are a few extra hoops you have to jump through.

The absolute easiest way to move a bunch of emails from one email address to another is:
1. Set up both email addresses as IMAP in an email program (e.g. Thunderbird, Outlook).
2. Highlight all of the ones you want to move.
3. Drag them to one of the IMAP folders in the target email address.

Outlook: Way to forward entire custom folder of emails?
I'm made a folder in which I've collected all emails of a certain topic, with several dozen emails within. I'd like to forward the entire folder to a new address, is there a way to do this? I contacted Outlook support, but they don't ever respond (not much for "support", I guess).
