Internet Explorer 8, Win 7 ultimate. Recording Everything I do on PC
Hello, I am skeptical about asking Microsoft about their own Internet Explorer 8
recording everywhere I go on my computer, every file I open appears in the internet
explorer history tab. Call me crazy, whatever. I do not like to use Internet Explorer.
Unfortunately, once in a while, once a week, I use IE8 to enter my access code that I
have purchased at the front office. A twelve dollar wifi access code for Cox
Communications, un important, then I close it and use Chrome or Firefox. Sometimes the
access code screen does not show up in Chrome or Firefox, when my week is up. So I open
IE8 and it opens the landing page. I enter my access code, then Google home page opens,
then I exit the browser. I use Chrome or Firefox until the time comes that these two
browsers don't open the landing page, sometimes a couple weeks, some times longer. Yet
when I do open IE8, the history tab shows every file, every picture, every my computer,
every my documents, every where I have been on my PC. Not web pages, unless I go some
where using IE8, then it shows that, obviously. IE8 shows eveything I've opened since the
last time I used it, IE8. True, I can simply delete History, every time. That is not the
issue. I want it to stop Recording every where I go on my PC, Especially since I do not
open it and use it. So, wheather IE8 is open or closed It still displays everything I
have done during that time in the history tab. This is unnerving to me. Please help me
prevent IE8 from doing this.
