I like the Speed Dial feature of Opera & I have used Opera for years. I also use IE11 for some websites.

I tried the latest Firefox but I got frustrated with it, so I uninstalled it.

Opera is my second choice. If I didn't want to use Firefox (my first choice), I would go with Opera.

What do you use when you are in Linux?

I'm not in Linux yet. If I was (and I probably will be in a couple of years), I would probably use Firefox (there is no way I will ever use Chrome anywhere).

Installed on my machine - in order Best in my mind to worst (least Used)

1 - Cliqz - If you are familiar with FF you will hit the ground running. Great Privacy built in. FAST.
    2 - FF Quantum
    3 - Palemoon
    4 - IE
    5 - Chrome

I only use IE when I absolutely have to due to some sites peculiar coding.

I detest Google and go out of my way to block it and all its privacy issues OUT of my life. Doanno why I don't just Uninstall it

I detest M$ only slightly less than Google.

    I have Win 7 FWIW.

I've been using Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox since 1998. Anything else feels like I'm wearing someone else's shoes... I think IE is clunky and Chrome's GUI is a bad joke.
This is somewhat similar to my thoughts.

I'm using Waterfox, mostly because I don't want to have the wife going through a learning curve, getting off Firefox. ( which I still have loaded and available, as well as a Chrome - which I needed last year to access my COX account and manage e-mails <they finally fixed THAT problem> )

I use Edge as my main goto Browser but on occasion my OTHER main Browser is Vivaldi. Its very fast and easy to "make yours", I highly recommend trying it.

Through the years I have use most all browsers. Of course they all keep changing, some for the better and some for head aches.

The last few years I use Firefox. Simple and to the point. No trickery needed.
That being said, I do keep I.E. updated because Windows 7 uses it at times.

Yes I do use Google for my search engine. (What are you crazy). No I'm not crazy.
When I use Google I don't get a page full of adds and B/S.

All search engines watch everything you are doing. Your ISP knows every site you go to. Every credit card one uses shows what you bought, what it cost and what store you were at when you used it. Your cell phone know where you are at and what you are doing when you use the phone.

Once you are on the internet your book is open to those that want to know.
One can not stop all this snooping and be on the internet.

    Example:
I have a friend that takes me shopping. She uses her credit card and then I pay her in cash. That way when she pays her credit card completely at the end of the month she get a 2 % credit on the total. Sad to say she also get a bunch if emails and junk snail mail relating to the products bought. Some company is selling the information to others, even though the company states otherwise.

Most of us already know about these things, but yet here we are, on the internet.

So to stop my preaching. I use Firefox. I don't need a lot of trick settings to make it work as it should. I don't need a lot of addon's to make it work.
I like things that are simple.
