    Windows mail (Attachments)


    Just installed Windows live as an email client and was attempting to send and attachment of bookmarks from my desktop. The attachment never appeared on the laptop, yet did appear on my desktop mail (Outlook 2007) Any clues beside the security, advanced, uncheck blocking attachments

    Received the email, just the attached file had been scrubbed off. Where in Kansas

6 days ago my windows live email changed to all attachments instead of text. Than it would not respond and go back to normal. It been flippping back and forth and driving me crazy. I have win 7 and webroot antivirus. I have scanned for virus. The attachments have opera symbol or open in note pad.
When I get mail with an '.eml' attachment I can not open the attachment to display the content. I have check the file associations and '.eml' is associated with Windows Live Mail 2011. If I save attachment and try opening, it will open Windows Live Mail but does not display the message or content....
I changed appropriate permissions and copied the windows mail folder from vista to Windows 7. It worked great and I thought all was well till I got an email with an attachment .eml. The error was the classic "windows cannot open this file.. . no program is associated" etc., message. I saved the...
