    lost Windows Live Mail

Hello, I need help, I booted up my pc tonight to check my emails in Win Live Mail and the program is gone from my start up menu.
Doe's anyone know how to get my program back , and if possible with the accounts and emails?

I use Revo Uninstaller, and when I looked in it , Live Mail was still listed as a program I am able to uninstall. So I'm saying that I think it's still on my pc some where.
    Please help. Mike

Go to Windows Explorer then follow this path
Windows (C) / Program Files (86) / then Windows Live / then Mail / then double click winl.exe
that should open your email program.

I clicked in the Windows Mail file and a message came up about the program wanting me to put in all the identities again etc...Any idea what that is about ?
Also Do you know how to add the program back to the startup list

Windows Mail is a different program see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mail_(Windows)
Windows was asking you to set up Windows Mail as your email server. Forget that as you have Windows Live Mail installed.
Follow the link I gaave you earlier and right click the winl.exe. Then choose from the drop down list.

mitchell65- Thanks, I followed all your instructions ,including rt click on winl.exe , clicked on pin to startup and nothing happened. I managed to put a folder looking icon in the taskbar.
I would appreciate any other ideas you might have to share.

    Thanks, Mike

Windows Mail was the email program for Windows Vista. I liked it & I wish MS had continued with it, but they dropped it when Windows 7 was released.

Have you got an icon to WLM on your desktop? If not then go back to the winl.exe, right click on it and click on "Send to" then choose shortcut to Desktop. The go to Desktop, right click on the icon just created and choose "Pin to start menu!"

    Look in \Windows\Installer folder.

You will find a lot of .msi files.
Find the one that is about 13668kb and run it.
