    Microsoft Outlook 2016 keeps asking for username and password


    Please Help.

    I am using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 (64 bit).
    Microsoft Outlook keeps giving me the following message.
    Enter your user name and password for the following server.

    My email is a pop3 account and I am not using any exchange server.
    How can I correct this and keep it from happening?

    You may need to reset your password in Outlook.

    Open Outlook, click File on LH top corner, then Account Settings. Then click on the email account in question & select Change from the menu. When that opens look down to Logon Information. Retype your user name & the Password & make sure you tick the Remember Password.

    If that does not fix the problem, contact your email service provider & check that you have all the correct settings needed for correct logon & connection.
