Microsoft Outlook 2016 isread:no All Accounts question

Hi, I recently made the mistake of "Upgrading" from MS Live 2012 to Outlook 2016. I had to pay $40 for software to migrate all my email and folders over and am now committed to using Outlook. It's been a serious PITA after using Live 2012.

1st, there is no Unified Inbox like 2012 so I have to use the filter below to see all the emails from all my accounts and emails I created filters for moving to specific folders.

I'm wondering if I can create an isread:no all Mailboxes function so I don't have to keep typing this in and then clicking on all accounts?? I've searched around and haven't found a solution to this conundrum.

I found a few articles below and this seems to be the only way to sort email into a unified inbox and/or see all unread emails from all account that have been filtered into various folders. I did 2nd option in link #1 and didn't like how it was done. I suppose I'll move on to the 3rd option and use Visual Basic to see if that's a better option. I appreciate any/all suggestions.

This is what I'm doing now which is a PITA.

Here's the article that I tried option #2 and didn't like how it works.

And another article on the VB option. It's shouldn't be too difficult but I've never used VB.
