    Firefox/IE Download Finished Sound?

Is it possible for a sound to be triggered when a Firefox or IE download has completed? If yes, how?

(please have personal experience with any suggestions)

    -thx

I have installed and tested the Firefox add-on "Noise", and it resolves my issue for Firefox. Still need a solution for IE11 (and Chrome).

Hi MourningStar, I have fiddled with IE11 a bit over the time, and if you go to Internet Options, Advanced,
and scroll down and check the box Play system sounds, it gives you a beep when the download starts, and
when the download finishes it gives a sound like the Windows logoff sound.

I do not use Chrome, so have no idea about that one.

That setting is tied into Windows sounds. I have Windows sounds turned off because there are too many annoying sounds. I will play around with it some and report back.

    Chrome?

    Hi,

Unfortunately none as I'm a Firefox user and have gotten used to it's native D/L'd action.

Here's a search for chrome download notifier with sounds Pretty much the same search as my first one.
