Sorry for asking a stupid question, but why install the no internet explorer version of Windows 7 and then install internet explorer?
Windows 7 comes with like Internet Explore 8, so you still have to install IE11 anyway :)
But it`s strange not to see the new Icon in the start Menu all applications list.

Open File Explorer, and see if you can find iexplore.exe in either of the following two folders:
If you do, then double click on it, to see what opens up. To see which version it is, click the gearwheel in the upper right of the screen, then click About Internet Explorer. This will tell you which version of IE you are running.
- C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer
If you find that you are running IE 11, then create a shortcut to the file you clicked on. You can then run IE 11 by clicking on that shortcut.
