    Chrome cookies remain

Chrome is not functioning as it should in automatically deleting cookies when closed. The "keep local data until you quit your browser" is on, and "continue running background apps when chrome is closed" is off. Is this problem common, and is there a solution, or is it another security "bug"?

    Hi sverne,

Take a look at this add-on for Chrome. I use this add-on in Firefox! Works Great!

I tried this and another G. Play app, and they did not work either, I will try again, but wondering out loud if it might be that my anti-spyware apps (also from Play) are interfering? Will post later.

Hey snick, thanks for the new info, but happily "cookie auto delete is working." Previously when I tried cookie delete, I checked google's setting page for cookies after closing browser, but the cookies were still listed. To my current surprise, they are still listed by name BUT without cookies. So according to all appearances, they are not there (the names are a nuisance but will delete all from time to time.

For future reference: google also seems to do the above-just keeping a "history".
Case closed on a privacy concern.

    Thanks for your help.
