Chrome Auto Update Questions...

    I agree with you about the insult to owner's control over the browser, considering the last update snafu about automatic sign-in.

    Go to windows task manager (control/alt/delete/) & processes and services, look for chrome updates, right click, stop service.

    Thanks Sverne, I don't need to shut off the service because Chrome doesn't auto d/l anyway on my PC..
    A lot of the younger computer users don't remember how it was when we were in control of what was put on our PC.

    There was pretty much nothing that got d/l without your consent...
    It's all mind control now...LOL
