Email links no longer functioning in GMail

Emails and Blogs arrive to my inbox in GMail, however the links are no longer responsive. I've no idea why the sudden problem. I don't know if it's GMail, Google or just me that's the problem.

In response I setup another email account with Yahoo and it works fine.

    Ideas?

Google Chrome...thanks for asking! The links show but nothing happens when they're clicked on. I did learn that I can copy the email link and the paste it into the Search Bar and it takes me to the article, or whatever.

That same exact thing has happened to me on occasion..If my son sends me a link it doesn't work sometimes and if I fwd the email to myself it then works...I know this doesn't help you but just wanted to let you know it's not that uncommon a problem...Why ? Who knows...
I also use Chrome and Thunderbird...

Ahhh, the age of advanced technology!...or should I remark 'arrgghh'?

Thanks...good to learn that others experience the same thing. My switch to Yahoo has so far been successful. However with Yahoo, I'm trying not to subscribe to new things rather instead just creating a desktop icon when I want to catch up to something of interest...but not enough to want to get into their crosshairs by subscription. Somehow I think there is a connection but that's my guesswork and surely not based upon my technical expertise.
