How can I STOP automatic download of a video on a web page.

ANy and All pages that have an associated video that automatically loads, but can take "forever" to load so that I can hit the Pause button. Then when I scroll down, that video box is smallified and appears on the side of a page, usually with the paused content running again. This needs to paused Again, and then the "x" located to get rid of it.

Is there any way to prevent this on an initial web page load? If I want to play the content,I could then click play.

Thanks in advance

Hi Justin Denial,

I run Firefox Quantum x64, Disable HTML5 AutoPlay add-on to Disable preload and AutoPlay. You can set individual exceptions for webpages via clicking the icon in the upper-right hand corner of the browser page then check or uncheck the two options.
