    Hi

The only other thing that might ba a problem is if your using shortcuts - the file associations may not be carrying over correctly.

    Download Tweaking.com tool, (portable version)
    select the following
    Repair IE/Ink and permissions.

If that doesnt help, you could try a full reset using the System repair option - NO loss of personal data

    Repair Install

First I tried with registry cleanup of iexplore mention, and ported working reg keys over as well as the directories for 32 and 64 bit version, which made at least the 32 bit version run without admin. But in the end I resorted to tweaking's IE repair, which registers 340, not half a dozen files, like some other tools, and impressively, that fixed it, and fast! It might be of interest, that first it did it in a way that the latest version of IE8 would be played in, but after seeing this, I ran it gain, but first using backups of the original folders of ie32/64, which tweaking took for registration, and both 32 and 64 versions now start without UAC dialogue.

    Thanks everyone for your help!
    :)

Thanks again for the tip re tweaking's repair of LNK and permissions, which in the end also fixed the kiosk mode (so moa can display the mht without needing to be in admin mode)...you were right about the link associations I guess! Many, many thanks for that :)))
