Internet Explorer - Open link in new tab??

Is there a way to get IE to open a link in a new tab rather than replace the current window? For example, in the Forum index here, if I left click on a thread title, how would I get that thread to open in a new tab, rather than replace the forum index page?

I've tried various options in the Internet Options/Tab page, but none has actually done this.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

If you use left-mouse-click on the link, then your browser will more than likely fetch the URL and replace the current window.

Sometimes this does not happen. For example if you click on any Seven Forum search results - then the browser will create a new Tab, and open the link in the adjacent Tab.

You can get your Browser to open an URL in the adjacent Tab, each time you require. To do this, you simple Right-Mouse-Click on the link, or the tab, and select Open Link in New Tab from the dropdown menu.

Hi. Yes, that's what I currently do of course - but as I seem to spend a lot of time browsing forum links, it would be a bit easier if this could happen with a left-click, rather than going into the context menu each time. Maybe it's not possible..
