Saved password problem - have to manually type in to access a website

Hi. Can anyone offer any clue as to why the saved password for a certain site (Fasthosts as it happens) is not accepted, whereas if I delete the password, then type it in, this is accepted and access is gained. The saved password is correct, there is no error with it. The username is a domain name (such as jonnerswebsite.me.uk) not an email, such as jonner@jonnerswebsite.me.uk. Being a layman I cannot grasp how access is only gained when I manually type in the password, but not if the password is placed there by Windows 7. Thanks. Rich

Welcome to the forum. What browser are you using deleting the password then redoing it may solve it. Some sites you can't save password some banks won't let you do it
