Chrome Disable Update Chrome=Browser

Hi,

I work with W7 and Use Chrome as my browser
I want to disable the Automatic update-function of the Chrome browser,
I already stopped and disabled with: Services.msc the 2 service-functions: Gupdate and Gupdatem, but that don't work. Chrome keeps updating.
Is there another sollution to do this?

I also tried to do this by Chrome itself:
Started Chrome
Using URL: chrome://plugins
But i got the chrome-message: This site is not reachable
Err_invalid_Url

Thanks for any advice

I'm using Opera, which is a Chrome browser. When I type in chrome://plugins in the address bar, I'm able to get to the options but disabling updates isn't an option. I'm not going to install Chrome.

Maybe this will be of more use-
