Windows Live Mail and TSL 1.2 protocol

    Windows Live Mail and TSL 1.2 protocol


    I would like to know if Windows Live Mail 2012 supports TSL 1.2 protocol

    since I will need that in a short while.


    If not I will need to switch to some other client.

    So TSL is supported, but,

    is that valid for TLS version 1.2 too?
    I mean, is this version of TSL (1.2) supported by this particular program?


    The secure email that I'm subscribed to stated that they will switch to this version in short time, cutting out all the older protocols.

    I don't know if the TLS version is 1.2, but do the suggested changes & see if it works.

    I looked and I already had that set up.
    I am not sure it will work and I guess for the moment the email provider is still using old protocols too so I guess I will realize when they switch to the "TSL 1.2 only" if the program is still usable or it needs to be tossed.
