Google satellite scroll zoom in out of streetview not working

Hi,

one can in google maps satellite scroll zoom up and down in the air, and the last zoom downwards gets you into street view, then zoom outwards and back into air.
CEASED WORKING.. as I do so today 30 oct 2019 on both firefox and chrome. friend also finds same,



Have google stopped zoom scroll to streetview and if so why ?


I go up and down with scroll wheel sussing route etc, it was perfect., it was fast and a joy to use.

It only happens if there is no street view for that area are using it live or offline maps try another area see if it works

tried it on my house where it works and now it doesnt. something has changed, a friend also found this.

How do you access maps app or browser are you logged into Google?

PC, Firefox or chrome.
