Outlook 2007 GMail problem
I have 2 gmail accounts in my Outlook Items. One has a spam folder, the other doesn't. When I use the Gmail 1 web app i can see Spam that does not show up in the "Junk" folder in Gmail 1 but is in that web app Spam Folder.
I think I remember deleting from Gmail 1: "All Mail", "Important", "Spam", and "Starred" folders that I find in my Gmail 2 account. Please advise about how to restore my Spam folder. Don't care about the other ones. Thanks Robin |

Spam folder
I read that article and it was very helpful. Now I remember where I saw those options to activate various folders.
I did activate the Spam folder and clicked "Show in IMAP" I restarted Outlook and it didnt show. I restarted the computer twice and it doesnt show... Any new suggestions? Should I delete the account from Outlook and add it again? |

You could try combining your accounts. N.B. I have never done this with my 2 Gmail accounts but did combine one with AOL.

Thank you all for the help. Another laptop restart did the trick. Now i can see all the spam one could possibly desire. Hahaha.
The notion of combining two accounts is intriguing. I don't recall any "button" or "option" that offers such a thing... but that is the cool thing about Outlook: My AOL and my wife's AOL and two Gmails are right there... collapsed. I can open any at will. I have benefited from this forum before when (before joining) my Outlook pst file grew to gargantuan size. Someone offered the ability to write a simple code that increased my default size from 20GB to whatever GB size I wanted. Unfortunately, there was no warning that my pst file was at the edge of the digital cliff. Thank you to the readers and problem solvers in this forum! |
