    Yahoo Mail Problem

I have an old copy of "fartmachine_branded50" that I downloaded from internet a long time ago and then burned it to a CD. At the time I was running Windows Vista. Now I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. I reinstalled the stated software and it plays fine on my present OS. In the properties section it is listed as follows: Type of file: Application (.exe), Description: Flash Player 4.0 r 7, Copyright 1996-99 Macromedia, Inc., Size: 468 KB, Date modified: 9/26/2008, Original filename: SwFlsh32.exe. Why won't my yahoo email send a copy from my desktop to a friend? As I stated above it works fine on my desktop, no virus, no security problems etc. I think Yahoo has a problem with Flash products or? The title displayed when I play it on my desktop is: Fart Machine 5.0 Created by Wavhounds.com. This site is now gone but I just reinstalled it from disc to my computer, works, so why the hang up with yahoo? Thanks

Just putting it into a zip file may let you email it.

Because some mail programs have a problem emailing .exe files. It dates back to the time when only .exe files carried viruses.

Has to be Zipped, and even then some email clients won't!
    OneDrive
    Google Drive
    Dropbox
Some of my batch, powershell & exe don't upload here either
Upload size limit is smaller now as well.

    "Phasing out 7."

Their OS choice won't affect the email. And now that Verizon has bought Yahoo, things will go downhill even more. (Do you know they also own AOL now?)

Zip the file and add a password so the zip is encrypted. Once encrypted Yahoo can't read the contents of the zip and think it's unsafe.

Or you could upload the file here and share the link to the zip file.

both Yahoo and AOL are owned by Oath which is a Verizon subsidiary

never use EXE files as email attachments (put them in a zip, 7z or rar file) - Yahoo is not the only provider blocking EXE file attachments in emails; Google, Outlook & others are doing so as well
