    Chrome crashed

For #1 user Chrome works fine but #2 user says untitled on tab (or maybe it was on URL bar) and hovering on tab says crashed. This has happened twice. Restart fixes it. What could be the cause?

As a working Computer Tech, I've had way too much experience with "Chrome".

Just like a virus, it likes to sneak into one's PC and try to take over.

I'm forever finding it on my customer's PC's, and when I ask my customer where it came from, they don't know, and usually don't even know what it is, what it does, etc. So I delete it.

I've even had it sneak into my own PC, probably tagging along with some other software that I've installed.
But, as soon as I discover it, I DELETE IT!

You'd be well advised to do likewise.

For my own PC, I only use Mozilla Firefox as my web browser, and "Startpage.com" for my search engine. And I have NO problems with either one.

    Good Luck to you,
    TechnoMage

Most likely cause is some type of webpage error, -

but If these are two users on the same PC/Laptop it's possible that you have a corruption in the 2nd user profile, only way to clear these in a practical time frame is to create a new user, migrate the user files from the old user to the new and delete the old user.

you can of course just create a new user to prove if it is a profile error

I think there is a way to "power-wash" Chrome, setting it back to Square One. Maybe do that before redoing a user profile?

There are various ways to reset chrome, often just starting without any extensions will solve most issues as extensions are often a cause of issues

there are much severe cleaning options Creating A Clean Testing Environment - Google Chrome

I am assuming that this is two users on the same PC, so both would be using the same chrome application so the difference is likely to be with the user more than chrome - hence the new windows profile suggestion,

a less severe option could be creating a new Chrome profile if the issue is a chrome one

Thanks for the heads-up Barman! I missed those details :) Ok, you got this, I'm going to "listen in" and learn.
