    Text options toolbar in Internet Explorer


    I have just helped my wife set up Internet Explorer instead of Chrome which is not supported by our ISP. It's working OK but somehow I cannot find a way of showing the text toolbar (I call it) which allows you to change size of font, bold, italics, color of text, etc. which in the old days appeared as the second or third toolbar from the top.

    I appreciate in advance any assistance in making this toolbar appear and usable.

    I have not seen that on IE only place I seen that was on Microsoft office.

On my old Win 7 computer the toolbar icons were pretty easy to see. Now, I'm just setting up my new computer and I've found the toolbar icons are really, really tiny. Actually, all the toolbars and controls have shrunk! Can someone tell me how to increase the sizes of the icons?
We have a Sony Vaio with Windows Home Premium on it. We are having an extremely annoying issue with it, and need some recommendations/help. I am pretty sure it is just some little setting that I am looking over, but don't have a clue. Anyhow, the issue is happening within the start toolbar....

i accidently unchecked my internet explorer toolbar so now i dont have a settings button or anything like that when im in internet explorer and i dont know how to bring it back on, can someone please help, thank you
