    How to open firefox new tab with google?


    I cannot get this to happen.

    I have looked it up with no luck yet.

    I have updated firefox also. 98.0.2 (64-bit). Thanks.

    I believe you are referring to what you see in the Firefox settings. The only choices you have are
    1. Firefox Home (Default)
    2. Blank Page

    To overcome this you have to add a Firefox extension.
    Go to extensions in Firefox settings

    In search box type: new tab url
    At top of results is New Tab Override
    Double click on New Tab Override

    Click Add to Firefox
    Follow instructions to complete installation

    In settings for Firefox Extensions
    At far right of New Tab Override click on three dots

    Click on Options

    For Option select custom URL
    For URL enter: Google

    Go back into Firefox settings for New Tabs and select New Tab Override
