might be worth checking the usb stick with bootice
BOOTICE-1.3.4x86.zip
select usb stick in the dropdown
clcik process mbr
it should say NT6
click process pbr
it should say bootmgr boot record
click parts manage
it should have A in that column to indicate it is marked active

Sure there is. Transfer KB3138612, KB4474419 and KB4490628 to it and install them. You'll be offered IE 11 as well as Edge by Windows Update. In case SP1 is not installed yet:
