    Firefox will support Windows 7 and 8.x until late 2024


    It looks like Mozilla will be supporting Windows 7 & 8.x with the next Firefox ESR release until sometime in late 2024
    as I've recently read from the following sites:

    Firefox gives Windows 7 and 8 users more than one extra year of support - Neowin

    Firefox will support Windows 7 and 8.1 until 2024 via the ESR channel

    Good thing I asked at Bugzilla. Otherwise, we'd still be waiting for an answer. I was the one that pestered them.
    My vested interests lie more with Windows 8, however, Windows 7 still has a way bigger share of users. Happy for you guys getting the good news!

    How long before browsers that work with Win 7 won't be accepted by web-sites ? (some ice-hole pages already say my FF 89.0.2 is not good enough)
