    HD light on for a while after closing FF


    I've noticed lately that when I close FF (V 115.0.3) the HD light comes on and stays on for about 5 minutes. I opened Task Manager and what is running is an svchost.exe SYSTEM process.

    What's the problem with that? Have you spoted anything anomalous on task manager?

    Everything looks normal in TM. There's usually 40-41 processes listed and there aren't any extra or unusual.

Hello everyone, I'm having the issue noted above. BSODs attribute the crash to either one of two files: cdd.dll (most commonly) and win32k.sys (only once). Screen turns jagged, goes black and then BSOD but only occasionally. I've had this crashes happen to me only 4 times in a whole week already....

I wasn't sure where to post this....so forgive me if I was wrong. I have been having a problem with what I think is my HDD, but yet again I'm not completely sure. Anyways my HDD is brand new, its a WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200RPM, all the stress tests come back with positive results when I run them...
