If anyone is still using WLM 12 with Windows 7 perhaps you can help ?

Two weeks ago had a crazy power outage. Knocked my equipment off several times in less than 30 min. When all settled, restarted and tried to open WLM. Small window popped up saying something about WLM could not find the mail store, to continue hit OK, otherwise cancel. Hit cancel, bam, desktop screen, no WLM start up. Tried again, hit OK, WLM fired up with basic folders under all email addresses. All created folders under each address gone! Did some digging and found them buried in Storage folders under Recovered items...then the real strange stuff.

Open a folder, there are the emails, click on one to open looks ok, click on another and its the same as the first sometimes, sometimes it's the body of a completely unrelated email !!

What happened ?? Is it fixable or should just move on ? Considering other mail programs since it's 'day one all over'. Most of the mail was primarily for reference, very little of great significance so the mention of backup is like pouring water down the drain instead of on the flame.
