a month ago I used: IE7&8, Firefox,Chrome, opera, and Safari to compare

I was sold on Firefox, yet still like Chrome. I use Chrome on my desktop and Firefox on my laptop. Laptop is used mostly for Web browsing and email, and firefox's add-ons are very nice.

That said. I have tried Safari 4 and think the speed has been greatly increased. The eye candy is also nice, but I think it's kinda of Chrome like. (rip-off)

Even that said, I have tried the latest Firefox Beta, and I'm again convinced that firefox is my favorite WB.

Well, to be fair, Chrome ripped off of like, everything XD. But they did some mighty good ripping off :P.

Going into a bit of browser history I guess, of all the popular browsers, Opera and Firefox are probably the most innovative. I can't think of anything Firefox brought new to the table though except for extensions. Not that new is necesarily better, and Extensions is one of the most monumental improvements. I really wanna switch back to opera lolz. Theyre the true innovators to me. They brought us tabs, speed dial, and contrary to popular belief, they had the "Awesome bar" quite a while before firefox did.

Lol I sound like a promotional speaker for Opera.

    Opera 2012!

    I use Firefox.
The only browser that doesn't have any bugs for me on Windows 7.
Which is good, because I'd probably still use it, even if the others all worked.
You probably heard this before from someone else, but I love the add-ons. Some of them are very useful. MY favourite one is the Alexa Sparky (Located in the status bar, showing you the rank of the site, and it's trend), Foxmarks, and ofcourse Ad-Block.

Well, downloading with IE8 wouldn't work for me. And it had some issues with other sites.

I can't stand ie and wish they would remove it and all dependencies like having to use it to download certain microsoft things... then give an option to add it or not.

yes I am used to opera like an "old slipper" and if it wasn't for microsofts restrictive practises like using update etc then I wouldn't have to use any other browser

Agreed, i would never have it on my computer if not for many ms sites saying "you must be using ie 5.5> to download this file/use this site".

I have firefox 3.1b2 and opera 10 alpha (i build wap/mobile sites so opera is good for testing them).
