Firefox. Mainly due to the add-ons I use. I just cant' live without them now. I liked Chrome's speed when I tried it but I didn't like where it installed....docs and settings. I'm hoping they changed that in later builds.
Opera, I hate. I has too much going on. They should strip that thing down and offer features as add-ons.
IE6 is alright but I hate the newer MS browsers due to them scattering the menus/toolbars to 4 different places!

Better plan on keeping IE on as well. When someone asked why they couldn't download a particular freeware on site I had to mention it was likely coded for IE only requiring active controls. Chrome so far made 2nd place from IE 8 on the list here.

    Firefox v3: Main
    IE8: Second

I tried chrome but didn't like not having my addons.

I use Adblock Plus and IE Tab for Firefox to make my browsing experience uninterpretable.

The one remaining problem besides Chrome not seeing active x controls as you would in IE is the lack of viewing pdf files in 7 and IE 8. Even with the latest adobe reader on you first have to save any pdf file to a folder and select another viewer like SumatraPDF. Other then that you can run into too many other problems with the other browsers more or less expecting IE.

Firefox here. Chrome's adverts (no adblock+) bad handling of Tab opening (so it's lack of TabMixPlus) no implementation of a drag link to open in new tab (QuickDrag), let alone Roboform, AutoPager, download statusbar, Iterasi etc are deal breakers for me.

I appreciate Chrome's speed but that comes to nothing when it falls over opening multiple tabs at once, or the necessity to open a new Tab to open any new bookmark or page.
I'd like to love Opera but despite concerted effort, I just can't.
For me IE has good features but is just a bit clunky (and it has ADS!).

Interested if anyone has recent experience with safari 4 (out today). I'm wary. My last install of Safari on XP a while back trashed the XP install and sent me to Ubuntu for 9 months!

    What Browsers do you use?

    Just our of curiosity?

I have IE8, Firefox and Chrome. Chrome is my main browser because of it's speed and it's easier on the eye but I've noticed IE8 is a must for when it comes to sites that require silver light. Firefox is good but I prefer Chrome over it.

But has anyone got or use Safari? Just that I've heard it's just as fast or faster than chrome but lack phishing security.

I was long ago a staunch IE user (because I didn't know my options), then IE7 came out, and it was buggy, and I tried the IE8 beta, and it was buggy, and I didn't like either that much.

Then I moved over to Firefox and have been using it ever since.

IE8 works fine now too, though I don't like a lot of the features built onto it.
