Yeah, Norton makes those useless alerts. Best is to switch the alert system off. You can do that in the Norton settings. There is nothing unusual in your log. One CPU was busy for a bit - so what.

I have no Norton right now on this system so I cannot give you more details. If you don't find it, go to the Norton chat room. They'll tell you.

I was talking about the Norton alert system. But that does not imply that you may not have some problem. Did you also clear all temp files - e.g. with CCleaner.

Btw: I do not recommend to use the IE 64bit. That is a lot slower than the IE 32bit.

Still same probs, maybe worse now

Im still having issues with IE,,, it bogging and hogging,, has been as you can see for awhile now.
Im connected wirlessly so ive been just assuming thats the problem as sometimes its fine but sometimes its like being on an old P3 system or 56K dial up.
I do know that some of it is that my roomate is also hogging bandwidth as she is closer to the router than me and probably getting a better signal.
Again ive scanned and checked to make sure i have no baddies installed. Im going to go through some internet tweaks tuts and see if maybe making some changes will spruce things back up.
