    Windows Live

I deleted all my email from my laptop days ago, today the same email is back in the inbox and can't be deleted. All I get is it is an unknown error and won't delete. Running 7-64. U would uninstall the program and reinstall except I don't want all the other Windows programs that come with mail.

Have you tried logging into your emails through a browser and deleting the emails from there?

    Navigate to this folder:

    C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

Check the Deleted items, and see if you can delete it from there.

    C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Storage Folders

Check the folder Deleted Items, and see if anything is in there.

Let's try to re-sync your account.

Right click the account name in the left pane, select remove account.

Then in the same pane, click add a new account, fill in your details, and let it download your folders.

    Is the email still there?

You need to go to Tools - Accounts then properties. In the advanced tab make sure Leave a copy of messages on server is unticked.
