    Windows Live Mail

The Windows Live mail has been working OK up until about two weeks ago. The first time I click on mail I'll get an error saying it can't make a connection with my isp mail sever, I'll close down and do it again and it works OK. Sometimes I'll get the error 2 or 3 times before it works, plus my password box keeps popping up every now and then. I've made sure it is set up right and my password is correct but it still continues to do it. Any one else having this problem, thinking of changing to Thunderbird cause it's getting very annoying. I'm using Windows Home Premium 64 bit.

I have been using email clients since Windows 98 and what you are experiencing is a commong problem. I do not know if the cause is always the same, but in my case every time I had the problem, it was the fault of the mail server. In my case about, 10 cases of the problem, and it took about 3 weeks to correct. It the problem is indeed caused by the email provider, very little you can do, other than contact them.

To me the clincher is the fact that it comes up with password problem, that is what happened to me everytime that I encountered an email problem with my provider.

Since we cannot be sure, contiune your efforts with the staff of this forum to corrrect any problems at your end. If not sucessful, it is probably caused by the email provider.
